November event: Reflexology tester sessions at Mathilda Marks Kennedy School, Chanukah Fair

School fund raising event where ladies received a 20 minutes foot reflexology tester session.

After enjoying shopping and few of the beauty treatments offered on the evening, the organisers included complementary therapies such as chair massage and foot reflexology for mothers coming at the fair.  The school classrooms filled with books and toys did not stop us therapists to set up a “therapeutic environment” such as proper reflexology/massage chairs, information materials about the therapies, classic music and candles so the tester sessions were fully enjoyed.

The MMK school event was very successful as Mrs Michelle Henley, one of the organiseres kindly gave us her feedback after the event was over:  
“We raised £2,000 for the school that night, with the combination of our shopping stalls, raffle, and of course the treatments!  The money will be going towards buying laptop computers for the children to use in class (which we have none of at all at the moment!) and to get the school set up with Wi-Fi technology.”

September event: World Reflexology Week 18-25 September 2011

This year the Association of Reflexologists has adopted the theme of ‘stress’ and as a member I offer free reflexology tester sessions. This can be either 20 or 30min sessions and anyone is welcome to give it a try.

Looking to promote this event and make known the benefits of reflexology, through promotional material provided by AoR, in an environment such as libraries, charity shops, health clinics, shopping centres in NW London.
